Mac eBook Converter is a simple but powerful tool for converting eBooks to PDF, Mobi, ePub and more.

If you want to read an eBook on your iPad, Kindle, Sony Reader or Nook Reader but it's in the wrong format, then Mac eBook Converter can probably convert them. Mac eBook Converter converts between ePub, PDF and Mobi formats which work on most e-Readers so that you can read your books anywhere. It doesn't have the slickest interface, but Mac eBook Converter converts to just about any format.

To use Mac eBook Converter, select the document that you want to convert and drag it into the Mac eBook Converter interface. Then go to the bottom left of the interface and change the Output Format to the desired one. In this example, we're converting from PDF to ePub for iPad. 3. Then simply click the green arrow button at the bottom right of the interface.

You have to be patient as the conversion process can take a while depending on how big the document is. In this example, a 90 page document took around 3 minutes to convert. To find your converted document in ePub format, just go to the Epubor folder. If you can't find it, use Spotlight.

Mac eBook Converter doesn't have the slickest interface but it does a good job of converting to almost any e-Reader format.

Doesn't work. When I download this, all I get is a document file. I'd be happy to pay for a program, but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with this. Pros: Not sure. It doesn't work. Cons: It doesn't actually work. It's an XML file. It opens like a document. Someone needs to update the download file.
